Artisan Soap Bar - Real Pine Tar! Makes a lovely gift.
Skin goodness of pine tar is the backbone of this special bar. Real pine-tar is dark brown, that results in the beautiful natural colour of this bar (we do not add charcoal for this reason). Pine, cedar, and nutmeg essential oils add to its skin-loving benefits, along with a naturally-earthy scent. And, the lather looks just like foamy beer froth! "To your good health."
saponified: extra-virgin olive oil (olea europaea fruit oil), shea butter (butyrospermum parkii, coconut oil (cocos nucifera), pine tar (palustris wood tar), castor oil (ricinus communis seed oil), essential oil blend: pinus sylvestris (pine scotch) leaf oil, juniperus mexicana (Texas cedar) leaf and wood oil, myristica fragrans (nutmeg) fruit oil.
Note: sodium lactate acts as a mild aha and humectant (used in place of sea salt water); see blog for more info on all ingredients.
Note: pine bark extract is not the same as pine tar; we only use pure pine tar
